Combining content from our standard Beginner and Intermediate Daily Courses, this online course systematically works through all the Key components of Excel in 6 weekly sessions of one and half hours each. Each subsection is presented using a carefully designed spreadsheet that enables one to follow along using practical examples, but also contains Key Notes and illustrations that enables the Workbook to double up as Notes.

Excel Overview – A look at all the main Excel Components such as Cells, Columns and Rows. Formula Bar, Ribbons and Command Groups. Workbooks and Worksheets.
Key Essentials – Critical components that are essential to understanding and working with Excel. Such as the 3 different mouse icons that enable you to Highlight, Replicate or Move Cell content. Get these confused and you’re seriously on the back foot from the get-go.
Data Input – Cell navigation. Formula Bar. Cut, Copy and Paste. Undo and Redo. Spell Checker. Plus, some key keyboard shortcuts to make you more efficient at entering and editing data.
Excel Autofill – The different functions of the Autofill feature. I.e. Copying cells, generating a basic series and replicating Formula.
Formatting Cells – Key Principles and Shortcuts to formatting, plus an overview of the Formatting Types: Number, Cell Alignment, Font, Border and Fill.
